I was in town and looking to shoot pool with the locals. I found out there was a tournament that night at coco loco. Met Ernest and his team who runs this place. Absolutely wonderful people. I felt like I was part of the local community and met some good people over pool. Meet Ernest if you have any special request. Overall a good neighborhood bar for both locals and visitors.
Love this place. The atmosphere is calm and everyone is always laughing and having fun. The owner is very nice and you can tell he cares about his customers. He treats just about everyone like family. I love the pool tables. They are some of the best pool tables compared to other bars in San Antonio. If you have never experienced it. I suggest you should. People who give a bad review are those who have never been there. It’s fun, drinks are cold and on point. And people are friendly.
Great pool players, Friendly Atmosphere and overall good people Coco Locos is a super cool dive, where you can find strong tournament competition, friendly people and high break and run pots. I was a little nervous about going to a pool tournament in a strange city alone, but I genuinely felt safe and well cared for here. From the moment I walked in, Ernesto, the owner, greeted me with enthusiasm, and throughout the night he introduced me to people as they came in the door. The overall vibe was positive, the pool tournament was run smoothly, and the players were just super chill good people! The bartender also went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Even though I lost pretty quickly, I had tons of fun getting to know everyone! It might not be as polished as some other billiards spots in town, but It’s the kind of spot where you walk in as a stranger and leave feeling like part of the family. I’ll definitely be coming back for the great company and the relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. if you’re looking for local competition with decent payouts Coco Locos is worth checking out.

Great place to relax and kickback. The bartender is awesome Kool guy. Will make you laugh. Good vibes. It was kinda boring because of the oool leagues. But "Abel," the bartender, was a great host and conversationalist. Beers were ice cold. Any shot u asked for were made to perfection. Spurs were playing, apparently so it was Game Day
